I'm a Child of the King. Wife to One. SAHM to many. Living in the (still) greatest country on earth (my opinion and I'll stick by it).
Expounding on the above:
** I dabble in crafts, but really do better finding information and materials for my Hubby and our youngsters. They have been blessed with abundant creativity! ** Interested in technology, web building, graphics and the like since ages ago. Learned the IBM language of Script back at Michigan Tech (MTU) so hardcoding .html is not that far a stretch.
** Love to learn.
** Live in a very rural area and love it.
** Have 25 acres total between two tracts.
** Know a little about a lot of things.
** Am an information junkie.
** Love the library. Have had at least 12 library cards in my lifetime from different libraries. I learned this from my Mom...when I move to a new place one of the first things I do after getting postal service is to get a library card (you usually need the postal service with proof of residence to obtain one). Whenever the option exists, I get the "extended" library service with interlibrary loan allowance. Michigan has a state-wide program we're linked into, so, yes. I have library cards and I'm not afraid to use them!
** Had ten babies but God took three back. Had natural childbirth assisted by a doctor, natural childbirth assisted by a midwife (almost born in the ambulance), induced labor, emergency c-section, semi-emergency c-section and a "scheduled" (albeit only a few hours) c-section. Had a baby in the ER of a small hospital that no longer delivered babies due to outrageous insurance premiums and then transferred to the original destination hospital by ambulance (one hour ride).
** Learn at home with our youngsters who are sponges for knowledge. Train them up in the way they should go, the Bible says, and when they are old, they will not depart from it. Dear God, from my fingertips and Your Word to Your Ears!
** Enjoy flowers of most shapes, sizes and colors. A dream of mine is to have a field of flowers and fresh, cut flowers in every room of the house. We were close this spring! Hubby is an avid gardener and has taught us all a lot about gardening the Lord's Way...without chemicals.
** Caregiving for parents. FIL passed away this spring so we're down to three.
